With powerful smartphones & cheap data rates, finally PC/Console quality games are possible on phones - PubG, CoD, Free Fire etc. Causing a massive increase in mobile gaming. Especially in the emerging markets (India, SEA, LATAM, MENA), where PC and Console games are still niche and expensive.
Because of the high fanaticism around these games, mobile gaming is turning into a sports like phenomenon. People love the games, talk about PubG on dinner tables and feel a sense of pride when they win a COD game. Skilled gamers live stream their games—a chill game of PubG or an eSports match for Free Fire. Viewers tune in, and cheer upon their favourite streamers. Just like a stadium, where you watch a live cricket match.
Turnip is solving this problem for mobile gamers—A place where mobile gamers can come together and share their love for gaming.
Not just this, we are building how gamers and streamers can build and discover interactive gaming communities.
